The Samsung Splittable Duct range combines powerful whole-home air conditioning with an innovative design made for Australian roof and ceiling spaces. Designed to provide efficient heating and cooling while remaining discreetly concealed, the range offers flexible installation, smart technology and practical features that make everyday comfort easier to manage.
Key Features:
Splittable & Tapered Design
The indoor unit can be separated into fan and heat exchanger sections, making it easier to manoeuvre through tight roof spaces. The tapered fan motor section is designed to fit between roof trusses, while optional Australian-designed Truss Chamfers provide additional installation flexibility.
Compact Indoor Unit
The compact design is around 10% smaller than Samsung’s previous ducted unit, helping the system fit into more installation locations and making handling easier.
Freeze Wash
Samsung’s Freeze Wash function freezes and then defrosts the heat exchanger, washing away dirt and contaminants before drying the internal components. Samsung testing indicates it can remove up to 95% of microorganisms from the heat exchanger surface under specific test conditions.
SmartThings Connectivity
Control your air conditioning remotely using the Samsung SmartThings App. Adjust temperature settings, change operating modes, schedule operation and monitor energy use from your compatible smartphone.
Smart Energy Management
SmartThings Energy and AI Energy Mode provide greater visibility and control over energy consumption. The system can analyse usage patterns and room conditions to help optimise operation and reduce energy use.
Auto ESP Adjustment
Automatically optimises airflow and pressure to help provide consistent heating and cooling while minimising noise. External static pressure can also be adjusted using a compatible remote controller.
Three-Way Service Access
Designed with service access from the top, side and base, making routine maintenance easier and providing greater flexibility for technicians.
R32 Refrigerant
Uses R32 refrigerant, which has zero Ozone Depletion Potential and a lower Global Warming Potential than commonly used R22 and R410A refrigerants.

Smart Forward can also automatically update supported software and features, helping keep the system up to date.
For added convenience, Welcome Cooling and Heating with geofencing can use your smartphone’s location to help prepare your home for your arrival.
